He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Rijeka in 2015, earning the title of Doctor of Medicine. After completing the mandatory internship (KB Dubrava), he was employed at the Department of Emergency Medical Services of Karlovac County from 2016 to 2017. He began his specialization in orthopaedics and traumatology in December 2017 at the Nemec Special Hospital (2017 – 2021). He completed his specialization in May 2023 at the Lovran Orthopaedic Clinic, the institution where he is still employed. At the same clinic, he is employed as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine.
He completed his postgraduate doctoral studies in “Biomedicine” at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Rijeka in 2025, defending his doctoral thesis entitled “The role of mir-146a gene polymorphism in primary osteoarthritis of the knee and hip”. As a specialist in orthopaedics and traumatology, he continues his education at numerous domestic and international symposia, courses, and congresses in the field of arthroscopy and hip and knee endoprosthetics. He is the author and co-author of numerous professional and scientific papers in indexed journals. He actively participates in domestic and international professional meetings.
