Ph.D. Eugen Divjak, MD

Postdoctoral in the Department of Radiology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb. Since 2021, he has been working as Team Leader of the Written Evaluation Committee for exam questions related to breast radiology for the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR) issued by the European Board of Radiology.

Born in Zagreb on November 11, 1986, where he graduated from the 5th high school. In July 2011, he graduated from the integrated undergraduate and graduate study of medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zagreb.
He completed his internship at the KBC “Sisters of Mercy”, and after passing the professional exam from 2013 to 2015, he worked as a substitute doctor in family medicine offices in the wider area of ​​Zaprešić.
In April 2015, he began his specialization in clinical radiology at the Clinical Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology of the KB “Dubrava”, and in 2016 he enrolled in the doctoral postgraduate study “Biomedicine and Health” at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb.
In July 2020, he obtained the title of specialist in clinical radiology, and in September 2020, he passed the exam for the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR).
Active participant in domestic and foreign courses and scientific gatherings in general radiology and radiology of the breast and musculoskeletal system. Participated in the publication of more than 10 scientific papers, numerous presentations at international meetings and three books. From 2017-2022. he was a collaborator on the project of the Croatian Science Foundation “Sonoelastography and magnetic resonance in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer”.
On April 20, 2022, he successfully defended his dissertation entitled “The value of sonoelastography in the assessment of lesions detected by breast magnetic resonance after surgical treatment of breast cancer” and obtained the title of Doctor of Science in the scientific field of Biomedicine and Health, scientific field of Clinical Medical Sciences, scientific branch of Radiology.

Title is a postdoctoral fellow of the Department of Radiology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb. Since 2021, he has been working as Team Leader of the Written Evaluation Committee for exam questions related to breast radiology for the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR) issued by the European Board of Radiology. He is a member of the Croatian Medical Chamber, the Croatian Society of Radiologists, the European Society of Radiology and the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology.
He speaks English and German.
Married, father of a three-year-old boy.
