Since December 2019, she has been working as a doctor in specialization in neurosurgery at the Clinical Hospital Center Sisters of Mercy. In September 2020, she enrolled in Postgraduate Doctoral Study in Neuroscience at the Medical Faculty of Zagreb, and she is currently in the final year of study.
Since April 2020, she has been working as an assistant in performing exercises in the Department of Anatomy and Physiology at the Zagreb Health College and as an assistant in the elective subject “Neurosurgical consequences of central nervous system diseases” at the Education and Rehabilitation Faculty in Zagreb.
She graduated from the Medical Faculty of the University of Zagreb in 2016. During her studies, she was an active member of the EMSA (European Medical Students Association) and CROSS (Croatian Students Summit) associations. As a member of the Croatian Medical Association Student Section, she actively participates in organizing numerous projects.
In April 2017, she completed her mandatory internship for medical doctors at the Clinical Hospital Center Zagreb and passed the state exam for medical doctors at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Croatia. From 2017 to 2019, she worked as an emergency medical doctor at the Emergency Medicine Institute of the Zagreb County, and at the same time, she worked as a lecturer in professional subjects – Pediatrics and Clinical Medicine at the Zagreb School of Midwifery.
She is a member of SeENS (Southeast Europe Neurosurgical Society) and HDML (Croatian Society of Young Doctors at the Croatian Medical Association), where she holds the position of the society’s secretary.
In February 2022, she was elected as the official physician of the Croatian women’s handball team. Since 2020, she has been a collaborator on the project “Establishment of an innovative category of brain tumor and blood clot biomarkers using sphingolipid profile analysis.” She has international certificates (European Resuscitation Council) for ALS (Advanced Life Support) and ILS (Immediate Life Support). She is a co-author of six scientific papers published in journals that are indexed in Current Contents. She is a co-author of five congress abstracts (at international and domestic conferences with international participation) and an author of several posters at international and domestic conferences.
