Dr. Josip Hrabar graduated in 2017 from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Rijeka. After completing his internship at the University Hospital Centre Zagreb, he worked as a physician in the out-of-hospital emergency service at the Teaching Institute for Emergency Medicine of the City of Zagreb (2018-2019).
He began his specialization in clinical radiology in 2019 at the “Dr. Ivan Barbot” Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Popovača. Since 2022, he has continued his work at the Sisters of Mercy University Hospital Centre in Zagreb, where he is currently employed as a specialist in clinical radiology. Since 2023, he has been a doctoral student in the postgraduate doctoral study of Biomedicine and Health at the Faculty of Medicine, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek.
He actively participates in national and international professional conferences, particularly in the fields of neuroradiology, ultrasound diagnostics, and interventional radiology. Notable presentations include the Croatian Neuroradiology Congress (2021), the European Congress of Radiology in Vienna (2023 and 2024), and the 13th Meeting of Interventional Radiologists of Croatia (2023), where he delivered a lecture on vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty.
He is the author and co-author of several scientific papers published in national and international journals, including Acta Medica Croatica, Acta Clinica Croatica, and Pharmaceuticals.
