Her areas of interest are painful conditions of the spine and musculoskeletal system, postoperative rehabilitation, rehabilitation of patients after injuries, and sports medicine. She is a member of the Croatian Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine and the Croatian Vertebrological Society. In February 2022, she was elected as the official physician of the Croatian women’s handball team.
She graduated from the Medical Faculty of Zagreb in 2013. After completing her internship at the Clinic for Traumatology, she worked as a general practitioner in the Health Center Zagreb-West and Zagreb-Center. In 2009, she began her specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Clinic for Traumatology Zagreb (since 2010 institution changed its name to KBC Sisters of Mercy, Clinic for Traumatology).
During her specialization, she completed a Postgraduate Specialist Study in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Medical Faculty in Zagreb. In 2013, she passed the specialist exam in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and since then has been working as a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the Clinical Unit for Rehabilitation of Traumatology Patients, Clinic of Rheumatology, Physical Medicine, and Rehabilitation, KBC Sisters of Mercy. She actively participated in several domestic and international professional and scientific conferences. Currently, she is enrolled in a doctoral program in kinesiology (kinesiotherapy direction) at the Faculty of Kinesiology of the University of Zagreb.
