Dr. med. Karolina Bolanca Culo graduated from the Medical Faculty in Zagreb after completing classical gymnasium. After graduating, she completed her internship, specialization in radiology, and subspecialization in ultrasound at the Clinic for Tumors in the Department of Oncological Radiology at the Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Institute of the Clinical Hospital Center Sestre Milosrdnice, where she still works.
Her specific interest is oncological diagnosis, especially breast cancer, rectal cancer, gynecological tumors, and prostate cancer. She participates in multidisciplinary teams for breast and rectal cancers.
She is the author of numerous scientific papers in the field of oncological radiology and is a frequent lecturer at surgical oncology conferences. She is a member of the “European Society of Breast Imaging,” the Croatian Radiological Society, and the European Radiology Society.
