Professional path
He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zagreb in 2003, and in 2004 he became a research trainee at the Clinic for Surgery “Sisters of Mercy” for 2 years, and then started specializing in radiology, which he passed the specialist exam in 2010. Immediately after passing the exam, he starts subspecializations in interventional radiology and neuroradiology. Training in the field of neurointerventional radiology starts abroad first with prof. Milošević in Ljubljana and then at prof. Hausegger in Klagenfurt.
University engagements
In 2012, he received a fellowship from prof. Moreta in Paris, Beaujon Hospital. During that time, he actively participates in scientific work and is among others the co-author of a publication published in the Journal of neurointerventional surgery: Samaniego EA, Kalousek V, Abdo G, et al. Preliminary experience with Precipitating Hydrophobic Injectable Liquid (PHIL) in treating cerebral AVMs, at the British Medical Journal. He also actively participates in congress presentations at the most prestigious congresses in the field of neurointervention (LINNC 2013 to present, ESMINT 2013 to present).
