Anesthesiology and Pain Treatment at Rotim Polyclinic

Anesthesiology and
Pain Treatment

When you are plagued with pain, everyday life suffers. If you suffer from frequent headaches, pain throughout the body, or a specific point, please contact us with confidence.

We treat pain with acupuncture and blockage of so-called trigger points. Although it can have serious consequences, we still know little about pain.

It is uncomfortable both physically and emotionally, and also affects our ability to perform tasks at work, at home, or in society.

Although pain can be long-lasting, we should never give up on its treatment.

In addition to medication, pain can also be treated with alternative therapies such as acupuncture, acupressure, and massage, depending on the needs of each individual patient.

At Rotim Polyclinic, each patient is approached individually with the choice of the best and most successful method of pain treatment, depending on the etiology of the pain, using detailed examinations, diagnostics, and therapeutic procedures.

Pain Clinic

The main goal in the pain treatment clinic is to solve every problem that causes pain and prevents the patient from leading a quality life. The team includes anesthesiologists, neurologists, surgeons, therapists, and nurses who together create a treatment plan based on the patient’s needs. When medication is not enough, they are combined with other treatments.

Local anesthetics, corticosteroids, nerve blocks, physical therapy, electrical stimulation, and psychological counseling are then used, all with one goal – to alleviate pain and enable the patient to live a normal life.

If you would like to schedule an appointment at the Pain Clinic, please leave us your contact information at the bottom of the text.

Pre-operative Examination and Opinion of Anesthesiologist

If you are preparing for surgery, it is necessary to undergo an examination by an anesthesiologist. It is extremely important to answer all questions about diseases, medications, allergies, and habits such as smoking, alcohol, and narcotics in detail and honestly. This will help in selecting the best anesthesia method for your body. Of course, you can ask your own questions to which we will gladly and comprehensively answer.

For the pre-operative examination, you need to bring:

  • Laboratory tests not older than a month: complete blood count, sodium, potassium, urea, creatinine, sugar, liver tests, coagulogram
  • Documented blood type
  • ECG report not older than a month
  • Heart and lung X-ray not older than six months (exception: not needed for children and otherwise healthy younger persons)
  • Medical documentation related to the surgical procedure for which preparation is being made
  • Previous medical documentation

If you do not have all the necessary tests, you can do them with us.

We are here for all questions, doubts, and consultations with our top experts. Contact us with confidence.
