Actively participates in numerous professional conferences in Croatia and abroad and is a lecturer at a large number of symposia, courses, and congresses organized by international professional organizations.
Professional Career
Doc. Dr. Sc. Sanja Tomasović, MD, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb in 1990, and in 1995 began her specialization in neurology at the Clinic for Neurology, KB Sveti Duh in Zagreb. Since 2008, she has been the head of the Laboratory for Cerebrovascular Diagnostics at KB Sveti Duh. At the beginning of 2016, she was appointed Acting Chief of the Department of Clinical Neurology.
University Engagements
She has been involved in educational processes throughout her career and, until 2014, was appointed to the scientific title of scientific associate in the scientific field of Biomedicine and Health, in the scientific field of Clinical Medical Sciences, in the branch of Neurology at the Department of Neurology, Faculty of Medicine, University Josip Juraj Strossmayer in Osijek. Two years later, she was appointed to the scientific-teaching title of assistant professor in the same department. She is the author and co-author of chapters in university textbooks: Public Health (the chapter “Public Health Significance of Dementia in Croatia,” Catholic University of Croatia, Zagreb, 2017), Forensic Gynecology and Perinatology (the chapter “Neurological Morbidity and Indications for Cesarean Section,” Catholic University of Croatia, Zagreb, 2018).
