Acupuncture at the Rotim Polyclinic

Acupuncture

We use acupuncture at the Rotim Polyclinic to treat joint and muscle pain.

Acupuncture can be used to treat a wide range of illnesses and symptoms, including migraines and high blood pressure, dizziness, tinnitus, toothache, back pain, neck pain, and other musculoskeletal problems.

Acupuncture is based on the teachings of ancient Chinese philosophies, where certain biological and energetic areas are located.

According to classical Chinese medicine, there are 12 meridians in the organism through which energy circulates. This energy should be in balance, and in the event that there is either an excess or a lack of energy in these meridians, a pathological condition or disease occurs.

There are about 365 points in the body, and by pricking a specific point, this energy is rebalanced.

Our experts know these points well.

With acupuncture, our patients solve the problem of headaches, migraines, pain syndromes in the neck, back, and neuropathic pain.

What does acupuncture treatment look like at the Rotim Polyclinic?

Our experts will work with you to determine a treatment plan for specific conditions, ranging from one or two treatments per week to daily visits. The number of treatments depends on the condition being treated.

When you arrive for your treatment, our doctor will first tell you the location of the planned treatment and explain the details of the treatment.

One part of the treatment involves the insertion of needles. Acupuncture needles are inserted at different depths at strategic points on the body. Acupuncture needles are very thin and the treatment is painless.

The needles remain in the body for a certain period of time (up to 20 minutes), during which time you lie still and relax. There is no discomfort when the needles are removed and the results of the treatment are almost immediate.

Some of our patients feel relaxed after the procedure, while others are full of energy. The benefits of acupuncture can include pain relief, stress reduction, increased circulation, improved immune system function, and improved skin and muscle health.

Acupuncture has improved the quality of life for many of our patients.
