Graduated in 2012 from the School of Medicine at the University of Zagreb. After completing a mandatory one-year internship, he began working as a physician at the Teaching Center for Emergency Medicine in the city of Zagreb. In 2015, he started a specialization in orthopedics and traumatology at the Orthopedic Clinic of the Clinical Hospital Center Zagreb.
After successfully passing the specialist exam in 2021, he continued his specialist work in the Department of Endoprosthetics at the Orthopedic Clinic. Throughout this period, he has also been teaching as an external collaborator in the Orthopedics course at the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb. In 2023, he started a postgraduate study at the School of Medicine in Zagreb.
As an orthopedic specialist, he educates himself at numerous domestic and international symposiums, courses, and congresses in the field of hip and knee endoprosthetics and arthroscopic treatment of shoulder diseases. He has published a series of professional and scientific papers in indexed journals mainly in the field of hip and knee endoprosthetics. He is also part of an international group of authors of a textbook on hip endoprosthetics (“The adult hip – master case series and techniques”).
He actively participates in domestic and international professional conferences, often as a lecturer and member of the organizing committee. He is a member of the Croatian Association of Orthopedists and Traumatologists, the Croatian Orthopedic Society, and the Croatian Society of Pediatric Orthopedics. As the secretary of the Croatian Society of Pediatric Orthopedics, he participates as a lecturer in courses on pediatric hip ultrasound and, in addition to the adult outpatient clinic, also works in the pediatric outpatient clinic at the Orthopedic Clinic.
His specific areas of interest include degenerative and sports injuries of the shoulder, primary and revision procedures in hip and knee endoprosthetics, and periprosthetic infections.
